Think Wargames in a reseller of Games Workshop, Warlord and Mantic games products, these include Warhammer 40k, Warhammer, Lord of the Rings and Kings of War products. The store was set up as a start-up business and needed everything developing from scratch.

The solution

The www.thinkwargames.com site required brand consultancy and development before any site build work could commence. For this we worked closely with the client to ensure that the design represented the new brand and was appealing to gamers.

The new site was built on the GibeCommerce platform and currently supports in excess of 500 individual product lines. The GibeCommence platform is built using the latest version of Microsoft .NET MVC and Silverlight and includes functionality for customer, orders and stock management as well as content and product administration

Results

The Think Wargames site has been live since mid- 2010. Since then the business has had a steady growth, increasing turnover month by month. With a very modest marketing budget focusing purely on social media and search the site achieves a solid 1000 visits per week and has a conversion rate of 3.5%. We are continuing to work with the client to optimise the site, purchase funnel and checkout.
